Job Summary

Majestic Stone is seeking a skilled Stone Products Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery to cut, grind, and polish stone blocks and slabs to meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate blade or wire saws to cut stone blocks to precise dimensions
  • Inspect products for quality control, ensuring they meet our high standards
  • Move heavy stone products using forklifts, cranes, or hydraulic hoists
  • Grind and polish stone surfaces to achieve a smooth finish
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and adjustments
  • Drill holes in stone blocks according to specifications
  • Finish stone products with paint and mounting plaques or concrete bases
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment with heavy machinery
  • Handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Work a standard 40-hour week
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • English language proficiency
