Position Overview
The Production Operations Specialist is responsible for the efficient operation of production machinery and ensuring the quality and safety of products throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate slitting machinery as required to meet production demands.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and boxing of products for transfer to finished goods.
- Stack and palletize various products, ensuring safe handling of weights ranging from 5 lbs to 50 lbs.
- Assist in conducting inventory audits, including daily cycle counts and comprehensive month-end and year-end inventory assessments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, contributing to all aspects of facility housekeeping and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Accurately pack, palletize, wrap, and label orders as necessary.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong ability to visually inspect and document product defects.
- Capability to stand or sit for extended periods while operating rewind machinery.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
