Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Shield Masonry Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean and free of debris before applying paint or finishes.
- Painting and Finishing: Apply paint and finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using a variety of techniques and equipment.
- Wallpaper and Fabric Application: Install wallpaper and fabric on walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Customer Consultation: Meet with customers to discuss color options and wall coverings, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment, including pressure washers and scaffolding.
- Estimating and Costing: Accurately estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
- Education: High school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in painting and decorating
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work at heights
- Language: Fluency in English
- Work Environment: Willingness to work outdoors and in various locations
