Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Assa Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our healthcare support staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Transport patients between care facilities and assist with exercise routines
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including making beds and maintaining inventory of supplies
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and sound discrimination
Work Environment

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. We require our Nursing Assistants to be physically demanding and able to lift, bend, and kneel as needed.
