Job Summary
Triovest, a leading commercial real estate company, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Manager to join their team in downtown Toronto. As a key member of the property management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of a mixed-use office and retail complex.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of Tenant Account Receivables, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Provide proactive support to tenants, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Liaise with the Tenant Services Coordinator and Operations team to ensure seamless communication and resolution of tenant issues.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new tenants, including the preparation and distribution of welcome packages and restoration requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of property reports, including financial statements and client requests for information.
- Support the Property Manager in the preparation of annual Operating and Capital budgets, including reforecasting and variance analysis.
- Assist with the administration of capital projects, including contract administration and documentation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new building programs, tenant engagement initiatives, and sustainability strategies.
- Support the Property Manager in the administration of property insurance and risk management.
- Assist with the review and update of lease summaries and tenant information.
- Provide administrative support to the Property Manager, including coordination of meetings and correspondence.
Qualifications and Attributes
- A post-secondary education in a related field, such as real estate, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Five (5) years of experience in property management administration and/or commercial real estate.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with experience with Yardi or similar property management software.
- Functional knowledge of social media tools and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional client service orientation and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
- A collaborative approach to problem-solving and relationship development, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
