Moneris is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Manager, Quality Assurance. In this position, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our software quality standards. Working in a dynamic environment focused on delivering innovative technology solutions and high-performing platforms for payments. The primary objective is to enhance our QA strategies and teams to set new benchmarks for quality in Software Development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Quality Assurance teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute QA strategies to improve product quality, reduce bugs, and streamline testing processes through automation.
  • Collaborate with business, product, and development teams to understand the product vision and requirements.
  • Manage the development of QA processes across multiple technology stacks ensuring they align with industry best practices.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and balance requirements, technical constraints, and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with product development, engineering, and business teams to align testing processes effectively.
  • Establish goals for QA processes and teams, providing regular reports to Senior Leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in applications testing.
  • 3+ years of experience leading QA teams.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire teams towards collaboration and achievement.
  • Expertise in QA processes, methodologies, test automation, manual testing, and defect management tools.
  • Proven experience setting team vision and goals aligned with business objectives.
