Job Title: Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at R & T TAX MANAGEMENT INC.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing technical advice to team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to management and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Technical Advice: Provide technical advice and guidance to team members on financial matters, including accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in accounting and financial services, with a minimum of 3-4 years in a supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Work Environment:

The Accounting Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Language:

The language of work is English or French, with a minimum of 35 hours per week.
