Job Title: Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at BTS ACCOUNTING & TAX SERVICES INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, and providing technical advice to team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise accounting staff in duties and policies
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to management
  • Ensure the smooth operation of accounting equipment and software
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to team members
  • Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and maintain financial records
  • Co-ordinate and assign work to team members
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong technical skills in accounting software and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Working Conditions:
  • 30 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • Work Language: English
