About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Municipal Engineering practice in Niagara. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, managing projects, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business plans and strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Municipal Engineering practice.
  • Manage and lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive business development and growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop proposals.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in municipal engineering, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of local design and construction standards, regulations, and requirements.
  • Represent the company in professional associations and agencies, promoting our expertise and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in municipal engineering, with at least 10 years in a consultancy setting.
  • P.Eng. or eligibility for registration in Ontario.
  • Project management (PMP) designation is an asset.
  • Strong business development and client relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
