Position Overview:

As a Senior Advisor in Functional Support, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive business and functional assistance for the Enterprise Work and Asset Management systems, including Maximo and Click FSE, along with all related interfacing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit extensive knowledge in addressing challenges associated with existing work management systems, particularly Maximo and Click FSE, and their integrations within the Enterprise framework.
  • Act as a functional lead in the Incident Management process, ensuring prompt resolution of incidents and overseeing system error corrections by Business Units and Technical Information Services.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination among sustainment teams across various business units.
  • Collaborate with individual Business Unit support teams and Technical Information Services to resolve functional issues and develop job aids as necessary.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving related to the functionalities of the Enterprise Maximo and Click systems.
  • Understand the business processes of each Business Unit and how their functionalities integrate with the overall Enterprise system.
  • Engage proactively with local Business Unit sustainment teams to document and address ongoing challenges and opportunities that could enhance operations.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with local Business Unit teams for each scheduled release managed by the Release Management team.
  • Ensure that interim business processes are communicated effectively during periods of system downtime.
  • Prioritize tasks in alignment with strategic objectives of the Enterprise Work Management framework.
  • Build and maintain trust with stakeholders across each business unit.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A related university degree coupled with four years of experience, or a minimum of six years in field or work management operations, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with clients and vendors.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Operations, Work Management applications, and Planning and Records processes.
  • Understanding of Work Management principles associated with Enterprise Work Management and Asset systems.
  • Certification or experience in Business Analysis and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Work and Asset Management systems such as Maximo and Click FSE, or other ERP solutions.
  • Prior involvement in ERP implementation projects.
  • Certification or experience in ITIL Service Management.
