Position Overview:

As a Senior Functional Support Consultant, you will leverage your strategic thinking and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive support for the Enterprise Work and Asset Management systems, including Maximo and Click FSE, along with all related enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit extensive business and technical expertise in troubleshooting issues related to Maximo and Click FSE, ensuring seamless integration across all enterprise systems.
  • Act as a functional lead in the Incident Management process, facilitating the resolution of incidents and overseeing system error corrections by business units and technical support teams.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among sustainment teams across various business units.
  • Address functional challenges in partnership with business unit support teams and technical services, creating helpful documentation as necessary.
  • Utilize your knowledge of business processes to solve issues affecting any business unit within the Enterprise Maximo and Click systems.
  • Understand the business processes of each unit and how their functionalities integrate with the broader enterprise system, including any related applications.
  • Engage proactively with local sustainment teams to identify and document ongoing issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with local teams for each scheduled release, ensuring thorough testing and feedback.
  • Communicate interim business processes to each unit during system downtimes.
  • Prioritize tasks in alignment with the strategic objectives of Enterprise Work Management.
  • Build and maintain trust with stakeholders across all business units.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A relevant university degree combined with a minimum of four years of experience, or at least six years of relevant operational experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and vendors.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Operations and Work Management applications, as well as Planning and Records processes.
  • Understanding of Work Management principles related to Enterprise Work Management and Asset systems.
  • Certification or experience in Business Analysis and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Work and Asset Management systems, including Maximo and Click FSE, or other ERP solutions.
  • Prior involvement in ERP implementation projects.
  • Certification or experience in ITIL Service Management.
