About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver and Support Specialist to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Care Provision: Assist in providing direct care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Emotional and Social Support: Provide emotional and social support to residents and their families, including palliative care.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Team Support: Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and compassion.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Training: A PSW Program Certificate or Diploma is an asset, but not required. We are looking for individuals with a passion for providing quality care and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Familiarity with care planning systems and documentation is essential. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
