Job Title: Construction Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at Northcan Construction Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize daily site operations, including supervising staff and subcontractors.
  • Develop and implement construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Manage site resources, including materials and equipment, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting site progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in a senior construction management role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
