Job Title: Site Superintendent, Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team at Northcan Construction Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and organize daily site operations, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and subcontractors, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
  • Prepare and manage construction schedules, milestones, and progress reports.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and control costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior construction management role.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Basic security clearance and bondable.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
