  • Works closely with the superintendent, construction/project manager, and project team to identify and address potential issues, work disruptions, and scheduling challenges.
  • Acts as a liaison between field engineers and estimators to guarantee that construction aligns with plans and specifications.
  • Aids in the formulation and execution of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and assists in creating resource-loaded three-week lookahead schedules.
  • Monitors and implements the project construction strategy and timeline.
  • Reviews and comprehends the contract and subcontracts, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Maintains project-related correspondence and adheres to documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Journeyman certificate or Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Actively pursuing NCSO designation (IND) and enrolled in the Gold Seal program as an intern (CDN) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field engineer or field coordinator role, or as a lead hand or foreman is preferred.
  • Proven experience in supervising a construction workforce.
  • Familiarity with the construction sector and company operations, including knowledge of building materials, construction specifications, and methodologies.
  • Ability to understand project scope and apply fundamental engineering principles to address constructability issues.
  • Proficient in understanding project timelines and identifying critical paths.
  • Knowledge of scheduling software is essential.
  • Awareness of safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
  • Capable of leading effective site meetings with clients, consultants, trades, and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and professional judgment.
