Role Overview
Reporting to the Associate Director of Client Operations, this position offers a chance to be part of a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization within the Financial Services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a comprehensive suite of fund accounting services to private equity clients, including NAV preparation, accrual bookings, security pricing, and conducting cash and security position reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate pricing of portfolios, adhering to relevant fund documents and valuation policies.
- Execute capital call and distribution calculations along with allocations.
- Develop fee schedules, including management fee calculations and waterfalls, ensuring compliance with applicable fund documents.
- Prepare investor allocations for each NAV cycle, ensuring accurate booking of capital transactions and proper P&L allocation.
- Compile NAV packages and other ad hoc deliverables as stipulated in service level agreements.
- Address additional ad hoc requests and projects as required.
- Liaise with internal MUFG teams and external clients to ensure all deliverables and requests are fulfilled.
- Assist in the preparation of audited Financial Statements, audit support, and other regulatory services as necessary.
Required Qualifications
You Should Have:
- A university degree or professional designation such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc., is considered advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Fund Administration capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Previous fund accounting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
