About the Role:
The Global business division is in search of a Senior Finance Manager who will oversee the entire Global Finance function. This role includes direct oversight of an internationally distributed finance team, focusing on talent development and growth. The Senior Finance Manager will collaborate closely with Division, Sector, and Corporate leaders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Finance leader for the Global business.
- Provide insights on risks and opportunities related to business strategies and implement action plans to address these.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Technical Leads, and Division/Sector leadership to enhance financial and program performance.
- Oversee financial reporting for Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash, including the preparation of reports for leadership.
- Develop financial statements and models to analyze various scenarios.
- Lead all accounting, pricing, and finance functions.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate forecasting and timely reporting.
- Manage milestone invoices and program cash forecasts proactively.
- Establish key performance indicators and maintain ongoing reporting of program costs and schedule variances.
- Analyze and monitor program Estimates at Completion (EACs) to ensure timely reporting of performance data.
- Ensure compliance with finance/accounting regulations at all international locations.
- Experience in Program Finance and Earned Value Management (EVM) is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant leadership experience, preferably in the Aerospace and Defense sector.
- Proven ability to nurture talent within the defense industry.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of international finance/accounting principles and regulations.
- Ability to create executive-level presentations.
- Extensive experience managing EACs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with Project Managers and other functional leaders.
- Ability to present effectively to executive leadership.
- Fluency in both French and English is essential.
