Global Finance Director

The Director, Corporate Asset Management position at CAE Inc is a key role that oversees the financial performance of the Business Aviation Training (BAT), Helicopter Aviation Training (HAT), and maintenance training (Mx) segments. As a senior financial strategist, the successful candidate will liaise with corporate finance management and the business management team to ensure alignment and effective financial decision-making.
This leadership role involves direct responsibility for forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting of financial performance. The Director will also supervise the global finance team, ensuring cooperation and collaboration to deliver results, forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
Key responsibilities include supporting business leaders in developing company strategy, including planning, monitoring, and policy development. The Director will produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts and reports, overseeing all business cases across the BAT/HAT/Mx business. They will also contribute to strategic planning, develop financial structures, and support corporate departments with finance-related matters.
The successful candidate will have a strong commercial understanding of the business, providing immediate and accurate financial assessments and valuable support to business leaders in achieving business unit objectives.
Requirements include a Bachelor or Postgraduate degree in finance or accounting, with a recognized accounting designation (CPA). The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of relevant experience, with a demonstrated track record of leading finance organizations as a controller and/or Director.
