Your Responsibilities

As a Process Implementation Manager, you will collaborate with Production centers, R&D Formula labs, category BPSC, Engineering, and other Supply Chain functions to spearhead the execution of innovation projects. You will take charge of leading a team of Process Engineers focused on integrating innovation projects into the Beiersdorf manufacturing network, while also enhancing team capabilities in compounding and process engineering within the Global Processing Technology group.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing a team of expert Process Engineers based at headquarters and regional offices, representing global processing technology in Supply Chain Core teams.
  • Leading resource management for process engineering to ensure effective collaboration with partner functions on innovation implementation projects.
  • Developing and utilizing global and regional synergies through practical resourcing models for Process Engineers from headquarters and regions.
  • Collaborating with Fill & Pack and Supply Chain Category Team leads to ensure smooth implementation of innovations.
  • Engaging early with R&D formula development labs to guarantee necessary alignments.
  • Partnering with Production Centers to support the vertical ramp-up of new innovations and provide post-launch assistance.
  • Managing escalations related to processing issues from R&D and Production Centers, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Serving as a key liaison with Excellence and Early Process Development teams within the Supply Chain Technology group.
  • Acting as the primary contact for compounding and process technology inquiries from stakeholders both within and outside the technology function at Beiersdorf.
  • Overseeing talent acquisition, training, and career development for the process engineering community.
Your Profile
  • Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end innovation process from pre-development to serial production.
  • Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; a degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
  • Strong background with hands-on experience in advanced processing technologies for skin and personal care products.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and functional leadership.
  • Ability to navigate complex environments and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills; fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
