About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Piros Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring that they are innovative, delicious, and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain high standards of food safety and quality, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including front-of-house staff and management, to ensure that our customers receive excellent service.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership abilities, and strong communication skills.
