Quantum Technology Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Nanofabrication Specialist to join our team at Photonic. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of various nanofabrication processes and a strong ability to execute precise, detail-oriented work.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate a variety of nanofabrication equipment, including deposition systems, lithography tools, etching systems, and characterization tools.
- Execute Fabrication Processes: Execute fabrication processes according to detailed procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with Researchers: Collaborate with researchers and engineers to develop and optimize new processes.
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of process parameters, equipment performance, and experimental results.
- Adhere to Protocols: Adhere to strict cleanroom protocols and safety guidelines.
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent technical training in a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in nanofabrication.
- Knowledge: Broad knowledge of multiple nanofabrication processes, including thin film deposition, wet processing, lithography, etching, and characterization.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Flexibility: Openness to work flexible hours in a cleanroom environment.
- Location: Ability to work at multiple locations within the greater Vancouver Area.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience working in a shared-use facility, such as a university cleanroom.
- Skills: Experience with specific nanofabrication techniques (e.g., atomic layer deposition, electron beam lithography, deep reactive ion etching). Experience with photonics/optical measurements is a plus. Knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis.
