Job Title: RF Engineer - Signal Delivery Systems

We are seeking a talented RF Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge on-chip signal delivery systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in RF engineering principles, experience with RF simulation and measurement tools, and a keen interest in exploring the intersection of RF and photonics, particularly in cryogenic environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop on-chip RF circuits, components, and systems that enable delivery of signals to and from cryogenic environments.
  • Utilize industry-standard RF simulation software (e.g., ADS, HFSS) to model and analyze RF performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive RF measurements using network analyzers, signal generators, and other test equipment.
  • Analyze and interpret measurement data to identify and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, fab engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
  • Document and design processes, test procedures, and results.
  • Develop and implement new test methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of on-chip devices for use in cryogenic environments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in RF engineering test and development.
  • Strong understanding of RF principles, including transmission lines, impedance matching, and scattering parameters.
  • Sound knowledge of RF components, circuits, and subsystems.
  • Proficiency in RF simulation software (e.g., ADS, HFSS).
  • Experience with RF measurement equipment and techniques (network analyzers, signal generators, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automating tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience with quantum technologies (e.g., superconducting qubits, quantum photonics) a strong plus.
  • Experience with designing and testing RF components for specific applications (e.g., wireless communication, radar, medical imaging).
  • Knowledge of cryogenic systems and low-temperature RF/photonics.
  • Experience with on-chip RF design and integration.
Why Join Us:
  • Be part of a quantum startup company set to redefine computing.
  • Work closely with some of the brightest innovators in quantum technologies.
  • Enjoy a fast-paced and fun environment where you can try new things while solving innovative challenges every day.
  • Inclusive company culture.
  • Competitive salary, benefits (including life insurance, extended health, dental, long term disability, and a flexible spending account), and potential upside.
