The Licensed Practical Nurse delivers comprehensive, high-quality, and secure care to patients, adhering to the professional standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario. As an integral member of the multidisciplinary care team, the Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in fostering an exceptional health experience for patients and their families, grounded in principles of professionalism, excellence, leadership, and compassion.
Community Commitment Program for Nurses offers financial support to qualified nurses in exchange for a commitment to work with an approved employer for a specified duration.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must not have been employed as a nurse in Ontario within the six months preceding the application.
- Must possess a valid Certificate of Registration in good standing from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Must commit to a full-time employment schedule for a minimum of two years.
- Must not be receiving financial assistance from the Ministry of Health for the Tuition Support Program for Nurses.
Core Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage workload in a dynamic environment.
- Address and resolve challenges in a constructive and respectful manner.
- Utilize sound professional judgment in decision-making.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe environment for all stakeholders.
