Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and organized Prep Cook/Kitchen Team Member to join our team at Boston Pizza International Inc. in Nanaimo. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to a high standard, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered to our guests.
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and organization.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure seamless service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to Boston Pizza's Brand Standards and Food Safety guidelines at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring our guests have a positive dining experience.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays.
