Job Title: Line Cook
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Bar Sofia. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a high standard, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, following recipes and presentation specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelines.
- Assist in food inventory and control, and properly receive and store delivered items.
- Perform delegated tasks from Sous Chef, Chef, and/or General Manager.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
- Culinary diploma/degree is an asset.
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
- Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure.
