Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Red Swan Pizza. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, manage food and kitchen supplies, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Supervise and Train StaffSupervise and coordinate the activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesEstimate and requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Ensure Quality ControlMonitor and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
Prepare Reports and SummariesPrepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
Requirements- Education and Experience
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
Language and Work EnvironmentFluent in English and able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and walking.
Personal QualitiesExcellent oral communication skills, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Work ConditionsThis is a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
