Optical Specialist

As a Licensed Optician at Tri Vision Optical, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional optical care to our clients. Your expertise will ensure that clients receive the best possible vision solutions tailored to their needs.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of College or CEGEP program
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in the optical field
- Knowledge: Strong background in optics and optical sciences
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' eyeglasses and contact lenses by utilizing optical measuring tools to determine eye curvature, pupillary distance, and bridge width.
- Interpret and obtain specifications for eyewear based on prescriptions from ophthalmologists or optometrists.
- Oversee and guide the work of junior opticians or students in the field.
- Provide expert advice on the proper use and maintenance of contact lenses.
- Coordinate the grinding or polishing of lenses, or perform these tasks as needed.
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure eyeglasses fit comfortably and effectively for clients.
Responsible for supervising a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.
Licensing and CertificationsMust hold a valid license as required by provincial or territorial authorities.
