We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a General Farm Worker at David Vos Farms Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
- Fertilize and spray crops to maintain their health and quality.
- Harvest crops at the right time to maximize their value.
- Feed and tend to animals to ensure their well-being and productivity.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry to prevent the spread of illness.
- Examine products for quality and readiness for the market to ensure customer satisfaction.
As a General Farm Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads while maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- Staff accommodation is available, and relocation is encouraged.
- English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- 40 hours per week is the standard working hours.
