About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Farm Laborer to join our team at David Vos Farms Ltd. As a Farm Laborer, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our farm, ensuring the efficient and effective cultivation of crops and care of livestock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Management: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Animal Care: Feed and tend to animals, ensuring their health and well-being.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and farm trucks.
  • Quality Control: Examine products for quality and readiness for market.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Staff accommodation available, remote location, willing to relocate.
  • Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, handling heavy loads, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Experience: Will train, permanent employment, 40 hours per week, English language.
