As a key member of our farm team, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the farm, including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops, as well as feeding and tending to animals.
Key Responsibilities- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops using a variety of equipment and techniques
- Fertilize and spray crops to promote healthy growth and prevent disease
- Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum quality and yield
- Feed and tend to animals, including livestock and poultry
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and farm trucks
- Detect and address any disease or health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
- Examine products for quality and readiness for market
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Will train on the job
- Staff accommodation available for those willing to relocate
- Remote location with a fast-paced environment
- Physically demanding work with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads
