Position Overview: Metal Polishing Support Specialist

Join our team at Vaughan Metal Polishing Limited as a dedicated Metal Polishing Support Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and appearance of our metal products.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education.
  • Experience: Ranging from 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize metal cleaning machinery to eliminate excess welds, rust, scale, and other contaminants from metal surfaces.
  • Efficiently transport items across the facility using powered equipment.
  • Manually handle the movement of raw materials, finished goods, and tools within the plant.
  • Immerse metal components in appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Provide assistance to structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and metal machine operators.
  • Sort and categorize metal sheets, scrap materials, and other relevant items.
  • Employ hand tools to grind or chip away excess metal from products.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machinery and work areas.
  • Assist in loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Polish metal items to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Interpret and follow work orders accurately.
