Job Title: Metal Polisher Helper

We are seeking a skilled Metal Polisher Helper to join our team at Vaughan Metal Polishing Limited.

Job Summary:

The Metal Polisher Helper will assist in the metal polishing process, ensuring high-quality finishes on metal products. This role involves operating metal cleaning equipment, transporting items throughout the plant, and assisting metal workers in various tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, and other materials from metal surfaces.
  • Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment and manually.
  • Assist metal workers in tasks such as sorting metal sheets and parts, grinding or chipping excess metal, and cleaning machines and work areas.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish.
  • Read and interpret work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 33 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
Working Conditions:

The Metal Polisher Helper will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to metal dust and other hazardous materials. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.
