Motel Managing Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Shamrock Motel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of our front desk staff, housekeeping team, and maintenance personnel.
  • Assist guests with special needs and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
  • Coordinate and review work assignments, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire, train, and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain the operation of our computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repairs as needed.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and plan and organize administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
