About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior School Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our Senior School, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver innovative, inquiry-based programming that challenges students with diverse learning styles, interests, and strengths.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and effective learning experiences that meet the individual needs of all students.
  • Provide leadership and instruction in Chemistry and Science courses, including SCH3U, SCH4U, and SNC1W.
  • Assess, evaluate, and report student learning in accordance with Growing Success.
  • Support the social and emotional needs of students, including those with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives and programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education and Ontario Teacher Certification.
  • Experience teaching Chemistry and Science, with a strong background in inquiry-based learning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to develop relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Experience working in a non-profit setting, an independent school, or a similar environment is an asset.
