Position Summary:

The Associate Principal will play a pivotal role in shaping the design, execution, and facilitation of Financial Operations (FinOps) services, workshops, and client engagements. This position involves direct interaction with clients, offering advisory services, and contributing to thought leadership within the industry.

  • Client Interaction: Engage proactively with clients to enhance awareness and foster future success across all aspects of the business value chain.
  • Thought Leadership: Remain updated on the latest trends in FinOps and IT Financial Management (ITFM), contributing to the FinOps community and foundation.
  • Strategic Insight: Assist clients with a comprehensive understanding of strategic, technical, and cultural factors to promote independent innovation.
  • Business Growth: Create and promote FinOps services to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Service Development: Offer insights and leadership in service innovation and process enhancement as a recognized expert.

This role necessitates a robust grasp of business and technology strategies, change management, and transformation challenges. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, along with experience in IT Finance or consulting within Cloud Advisory and IT Strategy Services.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience and certification as a FinOps practitioner.
  • Extensive consultative experience in IT Finance, Public Cloud Billing, and commercial agreements.
  • Proficient in IT Financial Management, Technology Business Management, and IT Asset Management.
  • An active participant in the FinOps community and foundation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects.
