Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of commercial management processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost estimation and management.
  • Review and approve project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Identify and mitigate cost risks, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, optimizing project costs and improving efficiency.
  • Provide commercial support to project teams, ensuring that all financial aspects of projects are accurately managed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project teams, vendors, and customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction project management, architecture, engineering, or finance.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial management, cost estimation, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering cost management services to large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication in both English and French.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in commercial management, cost estimation, or a related field.
  • PQS/ECA Professional Quantity Surveyor.
  • Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) full membership or equivalent.
  • Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) full membership or equivalent.
What We Offer

Microsoft offers a competitive salary range of CAD $121,800 - CAD $219,100 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
