About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Psychologist to join our team at Teladoc Health Canada. As a key member of our virtual care team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality mental health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, appropriate, and high-quality patient care for Teladoc Health members via our virtual care platform.
  • Assess patients' mental health needs and/or diagnoses, perform case reviews, and provide structured psychotherapy treatment.
  • Produce detailed, high-quality psychological assessments and treatment reports.
  • Maintain complete, timely clinical documentation.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal, provincial, and territorial health information privacy laws.
Requirements
  • Experience with return-to-work planning, early prevention, and disability management claims.
  • Registered member in good standing with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia.
  • Minimum +2 years of experience in clinical and/or counselling psychology.
  • Minimum +2 years' experience with return-to-work and/or disability intervention.
  • Experience providing psychotherapeutic assessments and structured psychotherapy treatment for individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health conditions.
  • Additional training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Proven success of client return-to-work outcomes.
  • Bilingual fluency (both written and verbal) in English and French is an asset.
