Intermediate Healthcare Device and Technical Readiness Site Coordinator

S.i. Systems is seeking a Hybrid On-site Intermediate Healthcare Device and Technical Readiness Hospital(s) Site Lead to oversee the collection and management of electrical, networking, and Wi-Fi specifications in collaboration with external vendors for the implementation of Electronic Health Records. Candidates must be local and possess a vehicle for hospital visits, with all transportation expenses to be covered by the consultant.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Must be local and have access to a vehicle for regular onsite visits to healthcare facilities.
  2. Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the healthcare sector, focusing on IT systems and operational support.
  4. Strong understanding of hospital workflows is advantageous.
  5. Proven experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including providers and clinicians.
  6. Familiarity with Microsoft Visio and experience in creating floor plans.
  7. Experience in managing and implementing electrical requirements with third-party vendors.
  8. Experience in managing and implementing network requirements, including Wi-Fi, with third-party vendors.
  9. Knowledge in Windows image management and mass application deployment.
  10. Experience in developing strategies and plans for device and peripheral deployment.
  11. Experience in leading device deployment projects.
  12. Experience in developing procurement strategies for device acquisition.
  13. Experience in coordinating installation and cabling work.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Experience with go-live conversions and cut-over processes.
  2. Familiarity with computing devices.
  3. Understanding of electrical and network requirements in clinical settings.
  4. Knowledge of mobility environments and associated devices.
  5. Understanding of output management environments and devices used in healthcare.
  6. Knowledge of infrastructure requirements for supporting devices.
  7. Experience with third-party procurement models for devices and services.
  8. Understanding of reporting and metrics in healthcare.
  9. Competence in all phases of application systems analysis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Site Lead will leverage their frontline experience to collaborate with colleagues across the region, ensuring the effective identification, procurement, and deployment of devices and necessary site modifications to support the implementation of a new Clinical Information System (CIS) and enhanced workflows for clinical staff. The responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the design, implementation, and management of electrical, network, and technical uplift requirements while providing guidance to project resources.
  2. Overseeing the design, implementation, and management of device management processes and tools.
  3. Ensuring alignment with processes and tools utilized by service providers and vendors.
  4. Collaborating with stakeholders to optimize the functionality of end-user device footprints.
  5. Ensuring compliance with requirements for the successful transition of new and modified devices into the operational environment.
  6. Supporting Senior Leadership through detailed analyses and recommendations.
  7. Identifying and executing necessary changes for device deployment.
  8. Documenting and managing project recommendations.
  9. Participating in the procurement process for external services.
