Position Overview

As an educator specializing in Natural Science, your primary role will be to facilitate learning experiences for students, develop educational programs, and assess student performance. You will cover a range of topics, including:

  • Atomic Structure
  • Fundamentals of Mechanics
  • Basic Biological Concepts
  • Principles of Electricity and Magnetism
  • Ecological Diversity

Employment Type: Contract – Future Program

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and organize class sessions;
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured instructional sessions;
  • Create assessments that align with competency-based learning objectives;
  • Evaluate and grade student work;
  • Support and monitor student progress to foster academic success;
  • Be accessible to students to aid in their understanding of course material;
  • Complete additional related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Legal authorization to work in Canada is required;
  • A certificate, university degree, or college diploma in a relevant field is necessary;
  • Experience teaching the subject matter for a full academic term within the last five years;
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a related field;
  • Fluency in the language of instruction (French and/or English), both spoken and written, including technical terminology;
  • Strong grasp of fundamental concepts and practical applications in the natural sciences.

This position involves collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders on a national and international level. Therefore, proficiency in English is essential.
