Position Overview

As an educator specializing in Natural Science, your primary role involves imparting knowledge to students, designing educational programs, and evaluating student assignments. You will cover various disciplines, focusing on the following key areas:

  • Atomic Structure
  • Physics of Motion
  • Fundamentals of Biology
  • Electromagnetism
  • Biological Diversity

Employment Type: Contract – Future Opportunities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize and prepare lesson plans;
  • Conduct classes in an engaging, effective, and organized manner;
  • Create both formative and summative assessments aligned with competency-based education;
  • Evaluate and grade student performance;
  • Support and monitor student progress to foster academic success;
  • Be accessible to students to enhance their understanding of course material;
  • Carry out additional related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess legal authorization to work in Canada;
  • Hold a relevant certificate, university degree, or college diploma;
  • Have teaching experience in the subject area within the last five years;
  • Possess at least two years of professional experience related to the subject;
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction (French and/or English) both verbally and in writing, including technical terminology;
  • Have a strong grasp of the fundamental concepts and practical applications in the natural sciences.

This position requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders on a national and international level. Therefore, professional proficiency in English is essential.
