About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at VISMA IT CONSULTING INC. as a permanent employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development
    • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code to meet the requirements of our clients.
    • Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required.
  • Technical Communication
    • Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to stakeholders.
    • Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
  • Client Support
    • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Cross-Cultural Training
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Cultural Competency Training
    • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a dynamic and fast-paced software development environment.
    • Collaborate with a team of experienced software developers and other professionals.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in software development.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
Work Setting

Work as a permanent employee in a software company.

Hours and Work Term

Work 35 hours per week.
