About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team at Nations Fresh Foods. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development
    • Design, develop, and test software applications to meet business requirements
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects
    • Write, modify, integrate, and test software code to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Software Maintenance
    • Maintain existing software applications by making modifications as required
    • Identify and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner
  • Technical Communication
    • Communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to stakeholders
    • Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on software status, operation, and maintenance
  • Requirements Gathering
    • Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop logical and physical specifications
  • Research and Evaluation
    • Research and evaluate various software products to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Special Projects
    • Program animation software to predefined specifications for interactive applications

Work Environment

The Software Development Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in software development
  • Language
    • Fluency in English
  • Work Hours
    • 30 to 40 hours per week
