Your Role: As a Mechanical Building Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in:
- Providing technical oversight, coordination, verification, and design for a variety of mechanical building systems projects.
- Collaborating with a team to execute mechanical systems design projects across diverse sectors including institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential.
- Conducting surveys of existing installations and analyzing, designing, and adapting building-related systems.
- Preparing pre-project studies and various client reports.
- Estimating construction costs and assisting in schedule development.
- Drafting specifications and technical documentation.
- Offering support for site supervision.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Licensed Engineer in accordance with the relevant professional engineering body.
- A minimum of five years of experience in engineering consulting.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in French is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards in mechanical engineering.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team, with excellent communication skills.
