CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Financial Cost Analyst to join their team in North Vancouver. As a key member of the Finance Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing operating performance and assisting in budgeting and forecasting operational expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Ensure accuracy of operational costs, analyze cost variances and trends, and provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, including budgeting and forecasting operational expenses, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Operational Support: Conduct month-end closing activities, participate in fixed asset reconciliation, and provide ad-hoc reporting as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement business process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Finance or accounting education, 1-3 years of industrial finance/accounting experience, and a CPA designation is a plus.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to build strong relationships, proficiency in MS Office applications, and attention to detail and self-motivation.
