The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining operational cost accuracy, preparing detailed analysis of cost variances, and assisting in the preparation of financial and operational reports.brbrbKey Responsibilities/bbrulliMaintain operational cost accuracy by working with budget owners to correct mischarges and identify anomalies./liliPrepare detailed analysis of cost variances and monthly trends to align with manufacturing schedules./liliAssist in the preparation of financial and operational reports, and provide possible alternatives to reduce overhead costs and improve financial performance./liliProvide timely support to different parties/stakeholders for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting input consolidation to meet corporate deadlines./liliPerform month-end closing duties, including cost reclassifications, cost allocations, accruals, and other required activities./liliParticipate in Yard fixed asset reconciliation and management initiatives./liliIdentify business process improvement opportunities and participate in implementing solutions./liliPerform ad-hoc reporting as required./li/ulbRequirements/bbrulliPost-secondary education in finance or accounting./lili1-3 years of experience working in industrial finance or accounting field./liliPossess or working towards a professional designation such as CPA is an asset./liliExperience with JD Edwards E1 and SAP BI is an asset./li/ulbSkills and Competencies/bbrulliStrong analytical skills and ability to interpret detailed information from various sources./liliMust be able to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills./liliStrong prioritization and time management skills./liliStrong knowledge of MS office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint./liliAttention to detail and self-motivated./li/ul
