About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our facilities team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building's maintenance and repair needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including emptying trash cans and waste containers, contacting contractors for repairs, and performing minor repairs on appliances.
  • Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety and security checks to ensure the building's safety and security protocols are in place.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens, as well as clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina to perform tasks such as moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Work Conditions: Repetitive tasks and physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Initiative, organized, and reliable.
Work Environment
