Senior Application Support Specialist

Alteo Inc. is in search of a skilled Senior Application Support Specialist to enhance our operational capabilities. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in assisting operational teams to address incidents while overseeing the Support team to ensure that all contractual obligations are fulfilled.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently and effectively resolve incidents.
  • Provide support to N2/N3 operations teams in managing production-related issues.
  • Analyze incidents and propose necessary actions for resolution.
  • Ensure thorough development and documentation for incident resolution.
  • Uphold compliance with commitments and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Assist operations teams with production roll-outs and validation processes.
  • Supervise on-site consultants to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Be available for on-call duties as required outside of standard working hours.
Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with the electronic payment sector is advantageous.
  • Proficient in C, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, Unix servers, and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of network certification and J2EE HTML frameworks.
  • Strong customer focus and adept problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively within a team and demonstrating initiative when necessary.
