Alamos Gold is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Lynn Lake Gold Project team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for assisting in the successful delivery of the Lynn Lake Gold Project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that engineering work is completed and adequately reviewed by relevant stakeholders in line with the project budget and schedule.
  • Ensure that engineering design is safe and fit for purpose.
  • Assist in the development of comprehensive, clear, specific scopes of work and other relevant procurement documents.
  • Participate in the development of requests for proposals of equipment/materials and contractors and assist with contractor selection.
  • Work closely with the Alamos construction team and contractors to ensure requests for information (RFIs) are quickly addressed and closed.
  • Work closely with consultants and contractors to resolve and/or mitigate design and constructability issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (civil preferred) or Construction Management.
  • Technical diploma with extensive experience is an acceptable substitute to a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering, project management and construction experience in the mining industry, preferably related to mine infrastructure and processing plants.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, a high level of energy, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with site and corporate personnel.
  • Computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, presentation, scheduling and spreadsheet applications.
