Interior Health offers a unique employment opportunity through its Employed Student Nurse (ESN) and Employed Student Psychiatric Nurse (ESPN) Program.

The ESN/ESPN Program offers nursing students a distinctive placement that encourages professional growth and the enhancement of skills.
This program is tailored for nursing students who have successfully completed their third (3rd) year* in an accredited nursing education program.
*Second (2nd) year students may be considered for long-term care positions only.
Opportunities are available across various health sectors, including Acute, Community, Mental Health, and Long-term Care.
ESN/ESPNs deliver direct nursing care in alignment with Interior Health's policies and procedures.To apply for an ESN/ESPN position, please ensure you have completed the following:
