We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Employed Student Nurse/Employed Student Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Interior Health. As an Employed Student Nurse/Employed Student Psychiatric Nurse, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience while pursuing your nursing education.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with Interior Health's policies and procedures, and BCCNM ESN/ESPN Practice Standard requirements.
- Work in an interdisciplinary environment where patients are at the centre of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Successful completion of year 3 of a BSN program or 18 months of a RPN program, or equivalent (and continued enrollment in a BCCNM recognized nursing education program).
- CPR Competencies (e.g. CPR certificate/experience).
- Current Employed Student Registrant status (i.e. ESN or ESPN) with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
